Llorente, and the Subic Bay International Terminal Corporation, spearheaded by Terminal Manager Henry V. Dungca, officially handed over two state-of-the-art Sony ILCE-6400 video cameras with four comprehensive lenses to the SDO TV Broadcast Team. The turnover ceremony, held on May 15, 2024, at the SDO Conference Hall was attended by admired guests, including City Mayor Atty. Rolen Paulino, Jr., Ms. Olga Lledo and the rest of the ICTSI and SBITC team.

The ceremony commenced with a sincere and warm Welcome Address by the Division Information Officer, Arlene Dela Rea. Her heartfelt words set the tone for the event, emphasizing the significance of the donation and the positive impact it would have on the broadcast team’s capabilities. She highlighted that this equipment will also be used by the young journalists who will be competing for the Regional School Press Conference.

Mayor Paulino expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation, highlighting its importance in enhancing the quality of news coverage for the community. “This donation is a testament to the commitment of ICTSI Foundation and Subic Bay International Terminal Corporation in supporting local initiatives and improving our news broadcast capabilities,” he said.

The OIC-Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac, also delivered a special message, personally thanking the benefactors for their essential contribution. “These high-end cameras will significantly enhance our ability to deliver timely and comprehensive news to the public, ensuring that we capture every important angle and detail,” she noted.

Sir Milky Llorente has consistently expressed his deep admiration and commitment to DepEd Olongapo, emphasizing his dedication to enhancing the educational landscape of the city. He frequently declared his love for the division and his unwavering resolve to support its initiatives, particularly in modernizing the teaching-learning approach. Demonstrating this commitment, Sir Milky Llorente, through the ICTSI Foundation and SBITC donations, has ensured that all 40 public schools in Olongapo City are equipped with Smart TVs, significantly contributing to the digitization of education in the region.

Sir Henry Dungca has shared heartfelt reasons for his willingness to support DepEd, reflecting on the profound impact his teachers had on him. This act of selflessness and commitment to education inspired Sir Henry Dungca to give back to the community. Through the ICTSI Foundation and SBITC donations, he aims to honor that legacy by supporting DepEd’s initiatives and enhancing the educational experience for current students.

Ms. Coleen Tala, representing the SDO TV Broadcast Team, gave her message of acceptance, acknowledging the impact of the new equipment on their operations. “We are incredibly grateful for this donation.
