By: Michael C. Manglicmot

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the Child Evangelism Fellowship of the Philippines paid a visit to Upper Sibul Elementary School at approximately 9:00 a.m. Their purpose was to conduct an evangelistic campaign focused on Values Education, targeting both Elementary and High School students within the Division of Olongapo City. Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. Dr. Erwin A. Bucasas, the esteemed Principal of Upper Sibul Elementary School, along with the dedicated teachers and eager learners, warmly welcomed the team.

The outreach program organized by the Child Evangelism Center encompassed students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. During their visit, they skillfully elucidated the Gospel of God and shared captivating narratives of faith. Additionally, they distributed enlightening booklets containing biblical stories, enriching the learners’ reading materials and deepening their spiritual knowledge.

Dr. Bucasas expressed his full support for such religious missions, emphasizing that they contribute positively to students’ freedom to express their faith. Witnessing the smiles on the faces of the learners, brimming with newfound knowledge and happiness from the engaging activities, underscored the success and impact of the mission.

This collaborative effort between Upper Sibul Elementary School and the Child Evangelism Center exemplifies the transformative power of education and faith in shaping young minds. It also fosters a culture of understanding and acceptance within the school community.
