Strived to attain the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) award by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), the Human Resource Management Office piloted a training-workshop for Human Resource Practitioners to strengthen their understanding on various human resource processes and procedures with the use of AO TECH DIGITOOLS System held at Schools Division Office Conference Hall last November 10-11, 2022.
The two-day training was entitled Comprehensive training for Human Resource practitioners towards Optimum level of Management and Engagement in digital workspace or PROJECT CHROME and was attended by Administrative Officers II, Administrative Assistant III. Administrative Assistant II and Administrative Aide VI who performed HR functions within the Division of Olongapo City.
On the first day of training, Dr. Maylene M. Minimo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, remarkably delivered her welcome message giving highlights to the goals and objectives of the division in achieving the PRIME HRM.
On the second day, the Schools Division Superintendent Leilani Samson Cunanan, CESO V, graced the program encouraging the participants to be creative and innovative at work. She also expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the active involvement of school personnel to the undertakings of the Division.
Administrative Officer IV (HRMO II) Jerimaine M. Perez commenced the first session of the training with her informative talk on Leave Administration Course for Effectiveness informing everyone on the implementing rules and regulations on leave administration to make them more relevant and responsive to current realities and concerns towards an enhanced government human resource administration system.
Administrative Officer II (HRMO I) Christian Lyndon J. Tangonan actively discussed the process on how to efficiently manage the AO TECH DIGITOOLS through updating of database of employees, encoding of leave records and approved service credits.
During the session, participants also underwent workshop on the new updates of AO TECH DIGITOOLS system focusing on the streamline submission of Form 6 and crediting of leave balances for Non-Teaching Personnel.
The afternoon training concentrated on the online reporting of Form-7 or Monthly Payroll Worksheet and Report of Service. The topic was discussed by Jeruel M. Pacatcatin, Administrative Assistant II of Human Resource Unit, where he explained the step-by-step process on reporting of incurred tardiness, undertime, absences, leaves without pay through AO TECH DIGITOOLS.
Moreover, Mr. Pacatcatin acquainted the participants on proper encoding and submission of reports relative to the transfer, resignation, reassignments, deceased and retirement of employees prior to submission to Regional Payroll Services Unit.
Administrative Officer III Ryan E. Atrero completed the last session of the training. On his talk, he introduced the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Web-based Member Records Creation and Updating.
Mr. Atrero likewise familiarized the participants on different Agency Remittance Advice (ARA) forms to be use for clarifications, updating and reconciliation of members record.
The training concluded through awarding of certificates to participants and inspirational message from Administrative Officer V and Head of Administrative Services Unit Juvimin O. Mustar.
