In a momentous event yesterday, the grounds of Kalalake Elementary School witnessed the dawn of a new era in education and technology as the groundbreaking ceremony for the much-anticipated Olongapo City Robotics Hub took place. Spearheaded by Congressman Jay Khonghun, this initiative is set to revolutionize learning opportunities for students across the city.
The envisioned Robotics Hub, with a staggering budget of 30 million pesos, promises to be a state-of-the-art facility that will foster innovation, creativity, and technological advancement among the youth of Olongapo City. With the support of the Department of Education (DepEd) Olongapo City, this project aims to provide students with access to cutting-edge resources and training in robotics and related fields.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed officials from the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Olongapo City, led by Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac, the Officer-in-Charge Schools Division Superintendent, and Sir William Roderick R. Fallorin, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent. Additionally, principals from various elementary and secondary schools in Olongapo City, as well as city officials, were present to witness the historic event.
Mr. Marcial Mortera, the principal of Kalalake Elementary School, welcomed the attendees and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to host such a groundbreaking initiative. His words reflected the enthusiasm and anticipation shared by the entire school community.
