The Schools Division Office of Olongapo City has been lauded yet again with the highly coveted PRIME-HRM Maturity Level 2 Recognition, marking a milestone in its relentless commitment to institutionalizing a Culture of Excellence. The recognition was awarded in four HRM pillars: Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP); Learning and Development (L&D); Performance Management (PM); and Rewards and Recognition (R&R).
The awarding ceremony was presided over by Director Fernando O. Mendoza, Regional Director of Civil Service Commission (CSC), Region III. In a speech, Dir. Mendoza captured the of what he referred to as an “empowered bureaucracy,” lauding the division for the innovative and progressive approach on implementing HRM processes.
The distinguished honor was conferred to Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac, Officer-in-Charge Schools Division Superintendent, and the former Schools Division Superintendent, Leilani Samson Cunanan, CESO V, SDO Malolos. Both were accompanied by dedicated DepEd Personnel at the SDO Office.
In her heartfelt acceptance speech, Dr. Macaspac credited the recognition to the synergy of the entire division. “We are grateful to the CSC Region III for acknowledging our effort towards excellence,” she exclaimed, adding that “This would not be possible without the collaborative efforts of all personnel in the division.”
But the Olongapo City Schools Division is not one to rest on its laurels. The division is gearing up for the CSC PRIME Onsite Assessment with an ambitious eye on clinching the Bronze Award in PRIME-HRM. With this, the Division extends heartfelt thanks to all who have been instrumental in this groundbreaking achievement. Thank you for being a part of this transformative journey.
