SDO OLONGAPO CITY JOINS THE 1ST REGIONAL SBM CONGRESS

          Selected schools in Region III recognized for having sustained Level 3 in School Based Management for the last three years were honored thru the holding of the 1st Regional SBM Congress held on November 21, 22, 2019 at Hacienda Gracia, Lubao Pampanga. In particular, two school heads represented SDO Olongapo City namely: Dr. Mariane F. Fronda, Principal IV of Mabayuan Elementary School and Dr. Wela Y.Mendoza, EPS-Science and concurrent OIC-Principal of Regional Science High School.

         This activity was spearheaded by the Field and Technical Division of the Regional Office thru the leadership of their Chief, Dr. Wendell Cabrera with his two Education Program Supervisors, Dr. Eva Imingan and Dr. Rafael Rubio. Among the highlights of this congress was the featured best practices of schools as shown in the booth display and video presentation of the success stories behind the schools’ SBM journey. The reactors and SBM experts all over the country commended the efforts of the two presenters from Olongapo City for having shown exemplary leadership in capitalizing the potentials of SBM as they continuously improve school performance. Further, the booth of SDO Olongapo City was also awarded as one of the Most Informative Booths in the congress.

         Other SDO personnel and SBM School Coordinators who attended this activity are: Madam Leilani S. Cunanan, Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Raymund F.Camacho, Senior Education Program Specialist, School Management Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Nestor N. Balois, Public Schools District Supervisor and Dr. Eleonor C. Cayabyab, OIC-Chief, SGOD, Ms. Melanie S. Berrame & Mr. Oliver Arevalo of Mabayuan ES  , Ms. Rose Aspiras and Mr. Keryx Neil N. Lacuata of RSHS.
