In a vibrant celebration of educational excellence, the 2023 Stakeholders Convergence spearheaded by Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac brought together 300 education partners on November 28th, 2023, at the Travelers Hotel, SBFZ. This is to honor and recognize the contribution and the unwavering support from Education Partners. This also showcased the achievements of schools in the search for the Best Brigada Eswela Matatag Schools. The SGOD – Social Mobilization and Networking Unit facilitated this event.
The convergence was graced by by City Mayor Rolen C. Paulino, Jr. and prominent stakeholders. Stakeholders convergence served as a platform for educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders to converge, exchange ideas, and celebrate the essential role of education in shaping the future. With a theme centered around fostering resilient and empowered learning environments, the event aimed to highlight the importance of initiatives such as Brigada Eswela Matatag, which emphasizes community involvement in the maintenance and improvement of school facilities.
A major highlight of the event was the awarding of schools that demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Brigada Eswela Matatag program. The rigorous selection process evaluated schools on criteria such as community engagement, innovation, and sustainability in maintaining and enhancing school facilities. The search aimed to identify institutions that not only excelled in academic pursuits but also prioritized creating a conducive and vibrant learning atmosphere.
Among the winners were Asinan Elementary School, Balic-balic Elementary School, Kalalake Elementary School, Upper Sibul Elementary School, Gordon Heights National High School, Iram High School and Regional Science High School. They showcased outstanding efforts in mobilizing their communities for the improvement of educational facilities. These institutions not only embraced the Brigada Eswela Matatag initiative but went above and beyond to create lasting impacts on the lives of students and educators alike. These 7 winners shall also be recognized in the Regional Gawad Katig awards in Hacienda Gracia, Pampanga.
The Superintendent and the City Mayor highlighted the united commitment to fostering resilient and empowered learning environments. The event not only honored the Best Brigada Eswela Matatag Schools but also served as a catalyst for continued collaboration among education partners in the pursuit of excellence in education.
