The project consisted of a two-storey building was constructed as an extension of the Schools Division Office. It will contain areas for a medical and dental clinic, treatment area, minor operating room, and consultation room intended to serve the teaching and non-teaching personnel, and students in the Division.
“I’m happy that you could use it… I’m happy that I can help. And we will continue to do so,” he said before a crowd of SDO officials and personnel, media, and other stakeholders.
In addition, Sen. Gordon said that teachers should motivate their students to dream and “aim high”. He also stated that children need to think, and believe that they can achieve their aspirations while reminding the audience that “you have to care”.
“The only permanent thing in life is change. Teachers are the start of change. You have to make sure that the child that you bring up will be the leaders of tomorrow. Kailangan palabasin n’yo ang galling ng bawat batang nasa ilalim n’yo, “he said in a mix of Filipino and English.
Meanwhile, Superintendent Leilani Cunanan extended her gratitude to Senator Gordon for “the blessing” that was funded through his Office. She also highlighted that everyone has a stake in education.
