Olongapo City, July 28,2026-The Schools Division Office of Olongapo City continues to be recognized as a model of excellence in educational leadership and innovative management systems. As part of this commitment, the Schools Division Office of General Trias City conducted a System and Process Benchmarking visit to SDO Olongapo City to study and learn from its best programs, systems, and innovative practices that may be adapted and implemented in their own division.
SDO Olongapo City warmly welcomed the delegation from SDO General Trias City, led by Schools Division Superintendent Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, and Officer-in-Charge Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Rogin O. Contemprato, for the benchmarking activity aimed at expanding knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in educational management.
The program formally started with the Welcome Remarks delivered by Ilynne S. Samonte, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of SDO Olongapo City, who emphasized the importance of sharing effective systems and best practices to further enhance the quality of educational services.
A message was likewise delivered by Imelda P. Macaspac, PhD, Schools Division Superintendent of Olongapo City, expressing her full support for initiatives that promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous innovation within the Department of Education.
The delegation from SDO General Trias City also shared the objectives and expectations of their benchmarking activity, highlighting their intent to gain innovative ideas and effective processes that could serve as valuable references in strengthening their programs and services.
One of the highlights of the activity was the systems presentation led by the Innovation Team of SDO Olongapo City, headed by Jet Renz R. Ferrer, OIC Supervisor. The presentation showcased the division’s innovative systems, streamlined processes, and best practices that contribute to improved operations, effective governance, and the delivery of quality services to schools and stakeholders.
As part of the benchmarking visit, the delegation toured the Next Gen Smart Classroom at the Olongapo City Civic Center, where they witnessed the integration of advanced technology and digital learning innovations that support more interactive, innovative, and high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
The activity also featured a Feedbacking and Question-and-Answer Session, providing an opportunity for both divisions to exchange insights, raise questions, and share recommendations on the implementation of innovations and effective management strategies.
Through this initiative, SDO Olongapo City once again confirmed its commitment to serving as a partner to other school divisions in promoting best practices, efficient systems, and innovative approaches toward the continuous improvement of educational quality for every Filipino learner.
