Lubao, Pampanga — The Department of Education (DepEd) Region III formally recognized the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Olongapo City’s education partners during the Regional Stakeholders Appreciation Program held on January 27, 2026, at Hacienda Gracia Hotel and Resort in Lubao, Pampanga.
Among the honorees from Olongapo City were the International Container Terminal Services Incorporated (ICTSI) Foundation, represented by Mr. Michael Vincent Llorente, Senior Program Head, and Olongapo City Mayor Hon. Rolen C. Paulino Jr. The recognition for the local government unit was accepted on the mayor’s behalf by Olongapo City Federated Parent-Teacher Association (OCFPTA) President Jose Emmanuel Arcenal. The awards were conferred in appreciation of their invaluable contributions and sustained support to basic education.
The SDO Olongapo City delegation was led by Schools Division Superintendent Imelda P. Macaspac, PhD, together with Ricardo Ednave, SGOD Chief; Arlene Dela Rea, SEPS-Social Mobilization and Networking; and Glenn Tipay, Education Program Specialist II – Social Mobilization and Networking, who represented the Division during the awarding ceremony.
SDO Olongapo City expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all education partners and awardees for their untiring collaboration and commitment to advancing quality, inclusive, and responsive basic education for Olongapeño learners. The recognition highlights the vital role of strong partnerships in strengthening education programs and ensuring better learning opportunities across the Division.
