The Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) successfully celebrated the 31st Community Police Relations (CPR) Month, bringing together partner agencies, stakeholders, and community leaders in reaffirming their shared commitment to public service, peace, and community development.
Serving as the event’s Guest Speaker was Ms. Imelda P. Macaspac, Schools Division Superintendent of the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Olongapo City. In her keynote address, she underscored the indispensable role of strong collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, and the community in fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and civic engagement.
Dr. Macaspac emphasized that effective community policing extends beyond law enforcement, highlighting that it is a collective responsibility founded on mutual trust, active participation, and shared accountability. She further recognized the unwavering dedication of the men and women of the Olongapo City Police Office in maintaining peace and order while strengthening meaningful partnerships with various sectors of society.
She also reaffirmed the commitment of the Department of Education to continue working hand in hand with the Philippine National Police through programs that promote values formation, youth empowerment, crime prevention awareness, and community resilience.
The celebration served as a testament to the enduring partnership between the Olongapo City Police Office and its stakeholders, reinforcing the significance of community collaboration in building a peaceful, secure, and progressive Olongapo City.
